Tropical Storm Alpha is the 22nd storm this season. This is the first time the U.S National Hurricane Center ran out of all 21 names reserved for the season. The remaining storms of the season will use Greek Alphabet in sequence (alpha, beta...etc). This storm season broke a lot of records:

Most Damage Done: Katrina
Lowest Pressured Storm: Wilma (the lower the pressure, the faster the wind speed)
Most Number of storm: 22 so far
* Category 1: 5 (Nate, Ophelia, Philippe, Stan, Vince)
* Category 2: 1 (Irene)
* Category 3: 1 (Maria)
* Category 4: 2 (Dennis, Emily)
* Category 5: 3 (Katrina, Rita, Wilma)
Most Number of category 5 storm: Katrina, Rita, Wilma
